NBA sportscaster Ahmad Rashad and his wife of five years, Sale Johnson, are reportedly “quietly” trying to negotiate a divorce settlement after being split apart for months before they file for the divorce later this year, according to the website Gossip Extra.
The site learned from Johnson’s camp that the reason for the imminent divorce is that Johnson has grown weary of the growing friendship Rashad has with NBA legend Michael Jordan and golfer Tiger Woods. Woods lives in Jupiter Island nearby the $5 million home in the luxurious Bears Club in Jupiter that Rashad and Johnson share, while Jordan is soon to be living in a newly-built, 37,000-foot establishment within the Bears Club community.

On the other hand, Rashad’s camp said that the reason for the divorce is because the love between the two has merely run its course. Johnson, the former fashion model and ex-wife of New York Jets owner and Johnson Johnson heir Woody Johnson and the Emmy Award-winning sportscaster and former NFL player Rashad have been together since 2005.
When Johnson split from the Jets owner in 2002, she is believed to have received more than $100 million, which makes her significantly wealthier than the 63-year-old Rashad, who Celebritynetworth.com places in the $8 million-range.
Rashad and Johnson’s property at the Bears Club, a fancy enclave developed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, is owned solely by Johnson. Rashad also owns a $350,000-house in the nearby Palm Beach Gardens gated community of Frenchman’s Creek.
